I ordered this for my 9 year old son for Christmas because he loves to play golf. The product itself is great, my only complaint is that the cover for the gopher keeps coming off. It's not extremely difficult to put back on, but it does get tedious when you have to fix it every time it's used (my son uses it frequently). Other than that I have no complaints.

Wilson Eco Core golf balls (patented) replace about 40% of the isobutadyene cores found in regular golf balls with re-cycled automobile tires. This produces a overall ball composition of about 25% recycled materials. The packaging is also recycled paper material. Individual sleeves are done away with, and the pizza box style of packaging is all one piece of unbleached cardboard. This cuts the paper and chemical use in half.



So the ball and packaging are resource friendly. The ball's actual golf performance compares very favorably with standard two-piece balls. Long off the tee, reasonable spin off the irons, durable ionomer cover. Pricing can be very inexpensive, and for any golfer shooting 80 or higher these balls should be considered.

I bought these (and some pink Volvik Crystals) from the PGA Superstore when I received a gift card at a recent outing. I am an occasional golfer and couldn't justify buying Callaway Warbirds or anything like that.
